The Glorious Apple
I am in the midst of crafting an extremely boring post about some of my recent observations at the market and have been somewhat remiss in not writing you sooner. So I thought I would drop you a quick line about all the wonderful apples.
It seems each week brings a new variety. This week the Winesap emerged along with the Arkansas Black. Today Dave Hale, one of my favorite growers, had 12 varieties of apples. It was awesome. I came home with Balwins, Winesaps, Arkansas Blacks, Spitzenberg, and one other variety I will have to look up, because I forgot the whole name - but it begins with 'P'.
See you at the market!
